- What is CartaX?
- CartaX is an integrated geospatial data platform by Fixurelabs: it produces, processes, analyzes with AI, compares across different periods and securely shares point clouds, orthophotos, elevation models (DSM/DTM), 3D surface models, 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), 360° panoramas/videos and vector data in a single browser-based 2D/3D workspace, with PIN-protected share links.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. CartaX runs entirely in the browser; viewing, measuring, analysis and sharing require no extra software or plugins. Recipients of share links also open them with just a browser.
- Which file formats are supported?
- Point clouds: LAS/LAZ (conversion up to 150 million points) and pre-built octrees. Orthophotos: GeoTIFF → COG conversion, ready COGs and XYZ tile packages. Elevation: DSM/DTM GeoTIFF. Vectors: GeoJSON, KML/KMZ, Shapefile (zip), DXF. 3D: Cesium 3D Tiles (b3dm) and GLB. 360°: panorama photos and 360° video. See the "Supported Formats" page in Guides for the full list and size limits.
- What does the free plan include?
- The free tier is permanent and requires no credit card: 10 GB storage, orthophoto/mesh/point cloud viewing and measurement, vector layer upload, TKGM parcel lookup, 1 active share link at a time (public, up to 3 days). Processing pipelines (LAS/LAZ and orthophoto conversion), the analysis workspace, video (360° and flat), 3DGS, CartaX Studio and PIN-protected sharing are on paid plans.
- What does the Professional plan cost and include?
- The Professional plan is ₺2,500 + VAT/month or ₺27,500 + VAT/year (annual: ≈ 1 month free + 30 permanent bonus tokens every year). It includes 250 GB storage, 15 processing tokens per month, 2 parallel jobs, unlimited PIN-protected sharing, Turkish cadastre (TKGM) parcel queries and all measurement/analysis tools. Above 250 GB, the excess is billed at ₺2.50 per GB per month (+VAT), based on the highest usage you reach during the period — deleting files later does not reduce that period’s charge. The total cap is 3 TB; beyond that falls under Enterprise. Extra token packs: 15 tokens ₺1,690, 35 tokens ₺3,590, 50 tokens ₺4,990; to top up a few missing tokens, single tokens cost ₺125 each (1–10 tokens). VAT is added to all prices.
- Do unused tokens carry over to the next month?
- No. Tokens included in your plan are valid only within their own period; unused plan tokens expire at the end of the period and your balance resets to 15 tokens for the new period. Token packages you purchase separately are not affected — they are permanent and never expire.
- How do I start?
- You can start right away with a free account; no credit card is required and it includes 10 GB of storage with viewing and measurement. You can upgrade to the Professional plan from the pricing page at any time. For enterprise needs, reach us via the contact form.
- How does PIN-protected sharing work?
- You create a link for a project or dataset; the recipient verifies with their e-mail address and a 6-digit PIN. Link validity is 1–30 days (up to 3 days on the free tier). Recipients view the data in the browser, take measurements and leave notes; guest measurements are ephemeral and access closes automatically when the link expires.
- What is the point cloud size limit?
- For LAS/LAZ conversion the per-file limit is 5 GB and 150 million points. For larger datasets you can convert to an octree on your desktop and upload it as a "ready octree" without spending tokens; that path is only subject to your storage quota.
- How many tokens does orthophoto (GeoTIFF → COG) conversion use?
- The price follows the pixel count: 1 token per 2 gigapixels (2 billion pixels), rounded up to 0.25 tokens, minimum 0.25 tokens. File size and compression (JPEG, DEFLATE, uncompressed) do not change the price; the pixel count is read from the file header, so the amount is final before you upload. The per-file limit is 20 GB and 5 gigapixels. Ready COG files are registered without tokens from the COG tab of the Orthophoto card (a COG dropped on the TIF tab is also detected automatically); CartaX Studio runs the same conversion on your own computer without spending tokens.
- Does video conversion (360° and flat) spend tokens?
- On the Professional plan, 30 minutes of video conversion (360° and flat) per month are included and spend no tokens; every extra 10 minutes costs 1 token (the month’s total overage is rounded up to 0.25 tokens). The month is a calendar month in Turkey time and unused minutes do not roll over; only successfully converted videos count. If the quota is used up and your balance is short, the video still uploads and plays from the original file — only the quality conversion does not start. Enterprise has no quota; video (360° and flat) is not available on the free plan.
- What is the TKGM parcel query?
- You can query Turkish cadastre (TKGM) parcels directly on the map: block/parcel info and boundary geometry are shown alongside your own data. The feature is available with a Turkey location signal or institutional credentials.
- What is CartaX Studio?
- CartaX Studio is a desktop companion app (Windows/Linux) that processes data on your own machine and uploads the ready outputs to CartaX. Besides the conversions (point cloud octree, COG), it runs a local production line: photogrammetry (orthophoto + elevation model + 3D Tiles mesh in a single run), point cloud classification, and GCP marking with an accuracy report. Local processing consumes no processing tokens; outputs only count against your storage quota.
- How does the Enterprise plan work?
- The Enterprise plan is shaped around your organization’s needs. Topics such as a dedicated CartaX environment, white-label use, single sign-on (SSO), storage solutions, role and permission management (RBAC) and integration with your existing systems are planned on request. Scope and price are defined together with your organization; use the form on the Enterprise page to request a meeting.
- Who can access my data?
- Your data belongs to your account (or organization); other users cannot access it. Sharing is only possible through PIN-protected links you create, for the duration you set. See the Privacy Policy and Turkish KVKK notice for details.
